Ukraine Action Summit - April 2025

UA Florida was one of nearly 40 organizations that participated in the Ukraine Action Summit, an advocacy event held on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., from April 7 to 9.

Over 600 delegates from all 50 states, both Ukrainians and Americans, gathered to advocate for Ukraine with their representatives and Senators.

Over the last three days, 444 meetings took place, during which delegates raised critical issues related to the war in Ukraine.

Florida sent 26 delegates, who conducted 23 meetings with congressmen and congresswomen and also met with one of Florida's Senators.

We are proud of the Summit's results. We believe that we conveyed the right messages to elected officials, empowering them to make fair decisions in support of Ukraine.

Ukraine Action Summit - April 2024

UA Florida team attended the Ukraine Action Summit on April 12-16th Washington, DC. There were over 500 delegates on Capitol Hill from 47 states engaging in learning experiences and advocating for Ukraine. Together we all conducted over 350 meetings on the Hill conveying the urgent need for support for Ukraine.

While we were advocating in the offices for support for Ukraine, Speaker Mike Johnson introduced a package of four bills that included supplemental funding for Ukraine.

We welcome speaker Johnson’s decision to introduce bills H.R.8035 and H.R.8038 and fully support his efforts to provide funding for Ukraine.

On behalf of the American constituents represented by our Coalition, we thank members of Congress for voting to give Ukraine the vital support it needs.
