The event, organized by the IRS Stakeholder Liaison Office in partnership with the Ukrainian Association of Florida, is specifically designed for new immigrants, and future and existing small business owners.

This event aims to equip immigrants and small business owners with the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in their entrepreneurial journey in a new environment.

We are planning to:

Explain the purpose of the Employer Identification Number (EIN)
Describe basic recordkeeping requirements for tax purposes
Define basic bookkeeping systems and accounting methods
Explain types of business structures
Define Sharing or Gig Economy
Suggest how to choose a paid tax professional
